Exceptional winter hardiness with a large, sturdy, upright plant habit with strong scaping characteristics. These varieties are a great choice for processing into dried powders, slices and nuggets because of their fat, plump easy to peel cloves. If you enjoy Black Garlic you’ll be hard pressed to find better options, especially with higher solids than most varieties. Simply put, if you process large quantities of garlic you’ll want o find your favorite Marbled Purple Stripe to do so. Bulbs have strong outer wrappers and store well in proper conditions.
